This night sky with a crescent moon and stars over mountains gauge swatch ruler is extra large for your larger swatches. The gauge, which measures 5x5 inches is made from maple wood and has a four inch ruler and a ten centimetre guide.

To use the tool, hold it up against your stitch work and count how many stitches fit inside the cut out area. By placing the tool over your work you can see how many stitches you have per inch and per centimeter. The bottom slot measurements are in inches and side slot measurements are in centimeters. The bottom is used for stitch gauge and side is used for row gauge. This ruler is great for all fiber artists.

Side note: If you need more stitches per inch, swatch with smaller needles and if you need fewer stitches per inch, swatch with larger needles.
