ToeGrips are a must-have for our spaniel who is elderly and can’t hold herself up on the wood floor without slipping unless she’s wearing her ToeGrips.
She went from skipping on her toes to putting 90% of her weight on her bad leg as soon as I put these on! No more wipe outs on my hard floors and she’s excited for walks!
I tried the ToeGrips. Since then—and it has been almost a month—no more slipping, even with lots of snow during that time (Illinois), and the ToeGrips stayed in place even with him going outside to potty!
Once we put these grips on two weeks ago, she’s about 98% better—able to run and keep her feet under her! They’ve stayed on the whole time too—wonderful!
Harley, my 14 yr old pug, could not walk on our tile floors without falling several times a day. Harley can now maneuver throughout the house without falling.—we have even seen him run a time or two.
Our 10 year old beagle has had a hard life unfortunately with horrible arthritis and spine issues. ToeGrips have changed her life as she is a constant mover now—I dearly wish I would have found these sooner.
He was given a medication which caused ataxia and my poor old man could barely move without falling over. They provided the needed stability to prevent him from falling. It was truly amazing.
We moved into a new home that has hardwood floors. These toe grips were a game changer—Kaiya walks everywhere now. We will definitely be ordering more.
An immediate change in your dog's freedom and mobility
If your dog can walk on carpet or grass but struggles on hardwood floors or smooth surfaces due to age, arthritis, surgery, or disability, Dr. Buzby’s ToeGrips dog nail grips can help.
ToeGrips have helped thousands of dogs worldwide including:
The non-slip nail grips fit onto your dog’s toenails to enable instant traction on hard-surface floors and stairs.
ToeGrips® dog nail grips typically last 1-3 months, two months on average. “Mileage” will vary based on your dog’s size, environment, and gait. The more abnormal your dog’s gait, the faster ToeGrips® dog nail grips will wear.
Most people assume this is a common scenario, but 97% of dogs do not bother with or chew at their ToeGrips® dog nail grips. In fact, most dogs don’t even seem to notice them, which makes sense because ToeGrips® dog nail grips sit on the poorly innervated nail tip, as opposed to covering skin/soft tissue of the paws and paw pads.
As a veterinarian, ingestion was one of Dr. Buzby’s primary concerns years ago when bringing ToeGrips® dog nail grips to the marketplace. She consulted with several colleagues, including surgeons, about this issue and everyone agreed that based on the size of dog and size of corresponding ToeGrips® dog nail grips, they should pass right through a dog’s GI tract. To date, that has always been the case. Furthermore, ToeGrips® dog nail grips are FDA-certified non-toxic.
Our 9yr old GSD was recently diagnosed with osteoarthritis in her elbows, back and hips and was struggling walking on slick flooring. She required help getting up if she happened to lay down where there was no rug. Now she can get up by herself and has the traction she needs when she walks. Note the happy tail the first time she stood up with her ToeGrips! Thank you so much!
My 16 year old maltipoo has sards and recently went blind. She was having a terrible time navigating her new normal. Dr Buzbys grips greatly improved her traction and her confidence navigating our wood floors.
After I had written my previous review, Dr. Buzby's actually took the time to call me to see if there was any way that they could help me before I gave up on using the toe grips. She asked several questions about my lab and offered two different sizes as well as a glue that they suggest using, which you can get a lot of different places, not just from them. She really made an effort to help me and my lab out. I have had so many bad experiences with customer service lately that I didn't even want to try any more. They really do care and really do want to help your dogs as much as they possibly can. Get a hold of them before you become jaded like me and let them help you out.
I read the instructions three times and watched the video. I did EVERYTHING that was instructed, exactly like it stated and was shown. My 7 yr old, 100 lb yellow lab was not more stable or confident with these on while walking on my hardwood floors. He went outside with them on and came back with 4 - 5 of them already missing. I should have went with my gut feeling on these and not purchased them. It took me months to finally decide to take the plunge. I even contacted them and "talked" to them before I bought them. I very hesitantly gave in and am now regretting it. We live in a very rural area, so he has a lot of area to run around on. We live on 600 acres.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your honest review so that it gave us the opportunity to reach out and make things right! As a team that strives to exceed our customers' expectations, we're so glad you felt we deserved an updated review and took the time to write one that reflected your full experience. We love helping our customers and their dogs! :)
We have a 12-year-old King Charles Cavalier and noticed it was getting harder for her to keep traction on the hardwood floors.
Now she has the zommies , runs around like she is a puppy. Dr. Buzby's Toe Grips worked wonders for our dog !!!
This product works very well. The only reason I did not do 5 stars is some of the grips have not stayed on. However, after fighting my reluctant 7 pound fighter, we were able to get them on. They really do work and she seems very happy to not be slipping and sliding. I will purchase them again.
Our dog recently had a leg amputated. With the grips she is able to safely navigate the wood flooring at home. She doesn't seem to notice them as she did socks.
Thank you!!!
My 13 year old Sheltie was having a difficult time slipping on my hardwood floors. When she fell, she couldn't get enough traction to get back up. .
The toe grips are really helping her to lead a more comfortable life and helping me, at age 91, t0 not have to lift her !
The toe grips have helped my 14-year-old Border Collie so much. He is walking up the stairs again without slipping and falling. Thank you!
My dog was use wrong size. thx to the email tech they helped me get right size and suggested glue the bigger size on n so far two weeks out n still on my angels toes. She knuckles her front paws n slides with back. So we gripped all four paws n glued Yeah still holding n walk great up down stairs.
