This happy guy looks lovely sitting on a bed or a chair and is super cuddly!

Knit and make up a big cuddly octopus in coral and white chunky yarns with our downloadable knitting pattern. Octopus is knitted flat on straight knitting needles, there is no working in the round needed.

To knit your octopus you will need: two colours of chunky yarn (You can use any chunky yarn you have but for the pink we recommend Women’s Institute Neon Coral Soft and Chunky Yarn 100g x 3 balls OR Schachenmayr Merino Super Big Mix in colour 00037. For the white we recommend Hayfield Bonus Chunky in White x 2 balls) long 7mm knitting needles, darning needle, thread, stuffing and grey yarn for eyes.

Suitable for knitters with a little experience, this pattern is a lovely introduction to knitting texture, with step-by-step instructions to knit the bobbly textured legs.

Dimensions: Octopus body measures 18cm tall when completes, legs are 40cm long.
