This is a top/cuff down sock.

A Craft Yarn Council chart has been provided to help you determine the length of your sock based on your foot size. Most of my socks have one cast on for an average width foot (keep in mind socks stretch, so this is rarely a problem), some have more sizes depending on the sock.

The Laurel Socks Knitting Pattern is fun from the first stitch, knit cuff down. This pattern was designed for any sock knitter in mind, especially the one that loves a comforting project. Something that is mindless. Simple stitches. NO Kitchener Toe.

I found it quite therapeutic and fast. You can get through an entire pair of socks in less than a week.
