I grew up as a member of a happy family in a small town in Japan. I've always liked challenging myself and teaching myself something new. When I was little, my mom told me how to crochet but soon after that, she took it away from me since I spent so much time on it. When I was working in a busy city, I had no time for crafting since I was working from morning till midnight (or sometimes even later).

When I got married to my husband, my lifestyle completely changed. I moved to California, in the US, and got more time. I needed to get lots of things for my new life, and thought of making them instead of buying them. I thought it would be very precious if I made things as I liked although it would take much more time and sometimes cost more than just buying them. Then, I started making lots of things by myself for my loving family, and later for friends... Now, our house is filled with what I've made and what I love! I believe "handmade" has done great role in building strong family bonds :)

Now, I'm still enjoying my crafting adventures. I'm teaching myself lots of new crafting techniques as well as computing and camera skills. There are so many things I would love to design and make, so it seems like this adventure will go on forever!!
