Washers are a sturdy aluminum. Other hardware is stainless steel and lanyard is made from full grain leather. (washer dimensions 22mm/ just a little less than an inch/ about the size of a nickle 😉)

Hand stamping is a way of making an imprint onto metal. It works completely by hand. Metal stamps with a design or a single letter are held firmly on the plate you are stamping & struck with a hammer, to leave an imprint. Because hand stamping uses no machinery at all, there may be little variations in depth and spacing to the imprints. Although I strive to make every thing perfect, there will be variations between each piece. The photos in this listing are a good representation of what you can expect. When stamp is struck on the metal piece it displaces the metal (pushes it to the side). The force of the strike sometimes leaves a indentation or scuff on the back side of the piece. I will buff that out to the best of my ability. It should not be considered a defect because it is the nature of the process.
