Unfortunately the noise from the road kept us awake at night and woke us up early. Other reviews saying it is quiet are clearly misleading.

I knocked one point off for the road noise but you canât hear it when youâre in the hot tub or in the property. Bowes is a great base for exploring the very beautiful countryside, youâre pretty much half an hour max from anywhere. Lovely relaxing stay, thanks: )
Donna
Exactly as described, but views even more breathtaking. Will definitely return. Sue & Chris were friendly and recommended places to eat and visit.
