Hoposa Villaconcha Apartments

Stayed at Hoposa Villaconcha 4 times now.Its very modern,and suitable for all from a single traveller to a family.It is good for both a relaxing holiday and for those who like to keep active.The staff are very helpful too.I am back again next year!

Opted for this hotel due to the location which is very central. Staff in the hotel was extremely friendly and couldn’t do enough. Hotel itself is pretty modern, the rooms are very nice. It was a perfect hotel for families with young kids would certainly recommend.

What a great holiday Would like to thank all the staff at the villaconcha for making our holiday really memorable one. For the moment we arrived we where made to feel at home very friendly reception (also the night porter) staff. Location of the hotel is fantastic 5 minute walk from the beach and shops a little further for bars. Bar staff were friendly and always ready to help with our drinks and food. Rooms where cleaned every day. We loved the fact that each room had its own iron. House keepers were always willing to help Pools were great from the large one to the paddling pool also the inflatable was great fun all the family Lastly a BIG, BIG, thank to Leon the childrens entertainer or should I say the family entertainer. Made our grandsons (Harry) holiday very very fun one made him feel really special I think one he will never forget Need to tell people on your web site that you have a beach towel hire

The food on this occasion let the hotel down. Both the breakfast and evening meals were barely warm and the plates st breakfast were cold. Despite speaking to the manager on 3 occasions this didn’t improve. Bizarre selection available at breakfast included sprouts, green beans, carrots and cauliflower. Yet there was a distinct lack of vegetables served in the evening. On 2 occasions chicken was served from the grill undercooked (raw in the middle) as was salmon fillet on another day On a positive note the staff were pleasant and helpful, the rooms and hotel clean and the bar staff very good Facilities for bikes and the pool are very good

This hotel had everything we wanted! We were travelling in the first week of the school holidays with 3 adults and 5 children aged from 3 to 14 years. The youngest liked the pools and the 'funny man' - the two animateurs Koen and Lukas worked tirelessly with the little ones - they were like the Pied Piper leading the children in treasure hunts, pool games, mini-discos, archery, fake tattoos... Everyone joined in the water polo and the foam party! Some of the adults got up for the 8 am stretch session, and made use of the training pool. I was a bit upset when the receptionist told us that that the training pool needed to be booked, and was 10 Euro extra, but it turned out that this wasn't a problem at all. In High Season it doesn't get busy, so booking is a formality and the small extra charge means that only serious swimmers use it. Don't forget your swim-hat though - they are obligatory! The location was just perfect, a couple of streets back from the sea-front, a short walk from bars and restaurants, the port, a small nature reserve, and a large supermarket. A small army of cleaners and gardeners kept the place immaculate. The room was fine for our needs, the fridge and freezer got plenty of use cooling down drinks. I don't normally go back to the same place, but I might find myself back at Villaconcha next year...!

Had an excellent holiday from start to finish very good hotel in fabulous location. Stayed some years previously but the upgrade is fantastic. Staff tried very hard to please but some needed to speed up a bit (not important but noticeable).
