The time and effort it took to finalize everything whilst accommodating my many many requests went above and beyond! I have ordered liquor bottle labels in the past, but never have I received one of such high quality! The instructions to remove the old label and how to apply the new one were so helpful! Refunds and Returns Policy for Handmade and Made-to-Order Items
We take pride in the quality of our handmade and made-to-order items, and therefore we do not offer refunds or returns on our products. However, if there is a design flaw with your item, we will be happy to make an exception to this policy. In the event that there is a design flaw with your item, we will review it on a case by case basis and offer a replacement for the flawed item. Please note that refunds will not be issued if an item does not reach you in time for your event. It is the customer's responsibility to inform us of the event date before purchase so we can discuss shipping upgrades and ensure timely delivery.
Shipping and Processing Times
Our current processing time for completing your order is 1-2 weeks, not including shipping time. If you require your items sooner, please contact us before placing your order to inquire on our shipping upgrades.
Please be aware that we cannot guarantee any specific arrival dates as we have no control over postal schedules and any potential delays that may occur during shipping.
Turnaround times may vary based on the overall order volume, particularly during peak and holiday seasons.
Most of our US and international packages come with tracking information. However, we only provide tracking on larger Canadian orders or if the customer has purchased a shipping upgrade.
Important Information for International Orders
Please note that each destination country has different rules and procedures for handling incoming international mail, which can affect the delivery time of your order. Therefore, we recommend that you check with your local post office to find out your country’s customs inspection regulations and handling times.
International buyers, including those from the USA, are responsible for any customs/duty or additional taxes required by their particular country. Please allow plenty of time for your order to arrive, as packages shipped across international borders can be extremely variable in terms of their arrival time. We cannot be held responsible for any customs delays, duties, or taxes that you may be required to pay to your postal carrier.
Return and Refund Policy for Damaged or Missing Products
Our team takes great care in packaging and shipping your items to ensure that they arrive safely. However, in the rare event that a product arrives damaged or does not arrive at all, we will evaluate the situation on a case-by-case basis. We may ask you to return the item to us to receive a full refund, but please note that we will not be responsible for the return shipping costs.
In the case of a damaged item, we require a picture of the item before we can proceed with rectifying the issue. Please send us a picture of the damaged item and we will work with you to find the best solution.
Depending on the extent of the damage, you may be entitled to a refund, replacement, discount or store credit.
Flawed Items and Replacements
We strive for excellence in our products, but in rare cases, mistakes can happen, and orders can arrive flawed. If you receive a flawed item, we will promptly send out a replacement to ensure your satisfaction. Please note that we only offer replacements, and refunds will not be issued for flawed items.
It's important to inform us if you have an upcoming event so we can discuss shipping upgrades to ensure timely delivery. Please be advised that replacement packages are sent via standard air and if you need your replacement package sooner, a shipping upgrade must be purchased as we do not cover the cost of priority shipping on replacement packages.
Important Information About Our Proofing Process
We take pride in providing high-quality products to our customers and aim to ensure that every order is processed accurately and efficiently. However, due to the nature of our business, we cannot offer proofs for orders that are based on a template or are print-ready. We understand that some orders may require personalization, but please note that if you would like to see a proof before production, we require an additional fee for this service.
For custom items that require proofs, we ask that clients respond within 2-3 days of when the digital proof is sent. If we do not receive a response within this timeframe, we reserve the right to fulfill the order with the information provided on the order sheet and in Etsy conversations.
High Volume Orders
At Cake Walk Collective, we take pride in meeting our processing times for every order. However, if you are planning on placing a large or special order, please order in advance as these orders may require additional processing time. The processing time for larger orders will vary depending on their custom nature and volume.
If you need your products within a specific time frame, we recommend messaging us for our current turnaround times before placing an order. This will allow us to give you a better estimate of the processing time for your order and ensure that your products arrive on time. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us provide the best possible service for your order.
Color / Image Disclaimer
Actual product color may vary from the images shown. Every monitor or mobile display has a different capability to display colors, and every individual may see these colors differently. In addition, lighting conditions at the time the photo was taken can also affect an image's color.
In purchasing from our shop, you agree to accept the small risk that there will be a slight variation between the actual colour and design, and the representation on our website.
Label/Decal Disclaimer
For products that involve application, the buyer assumes all responsibility for proper use and application. Seller assumes no liability for incidental or consequential damages to product or product surface. Please note, decals/labels will not adhere to cold or damp surfaces. Please ensure your surface is completely dry before adhering.
To protect the life of your labels please be sure to seal your labels and store in a dark and dry environment until they need to be used. For maximum print life, please store all glossy labels in sealed packaging such as the cellophane bag they have been shipped in. Direct exposure to sunlight, air pollutants, and or humidity may cause paper to discolor slightly which may produce paper to yellow.
Important Information Regarding Personalized and Custom Items
Personalized and custom items are final sale, and we are unable to accept returns. To ensure your complete satisfaction with your personalized and custom items, please carefully read the item description and review the personalization instructions before placing your order. Personalized items will print with the EXACT text included in the personalization box. We do not contact the customer in regards to typographical errors and therefore are not liable for any errors in the final product caused by any of the following reasons: Misspellings, Graphics, Grammar, Punctuation, or Inaccurate Content. It is the customer's responsibility to carefully review their personalization details for any errors or mistakes before submitting their order.
