I’d like to introduce myself to you, I’m Carol Vincent and I founded Pure Invitation 18 years ago after a disastrous attempt at making my own wedding invitations.

When I planned my own wedding, I sat down and worked out the costs of everything I could think of. To my dismay we were way over budget and I worried about how we were going to plan the wedding we’d dreamed of within our budget. Does any of this sound familiar?

I’d had a couple of stationery quotes for beautiful handmade invites but as they were now out of our reach, I decided to make my own. I’m a creative person; it can’t be that hard, right?

Wrong.

I found myself wandering around the local craft shop, not having a clue where to begin. In the end I spent a fair bit of money on card blanks and decorations and the result was pretty poor.

After my wedding (which was otherwise wonderful!) I reflected on the poor stationery I’d been forced to send and pondered about how many other couples found themselves in the same position.

That day Pure Invitation was born and since then I’ve honed my design skills and production knowhow and immersed myself in the wonderful world weddings.
