Moths,bugs may be attracted to the feathers depending on what part of the world you live in.
I highly recommend you follow this ways to care for juju hats :

- Spray your juju hat every 3 months with an anti-moth spray.

- You may also use a cedar block or bag of dried lavender in the back of the hat to repel any moths.

- Its not advisable to hang colored juju hats in direct sunlight as the sun may eventually lighten the dyed feathers, unless you desire that look.

My Juju Hat feathers are carefully folded, tied together with a string that comes with the juju hat and put into a box. This is for easy packaging and transportation as juju hats cannot be packaged open

Shipping of juju hat packages worldwide is via DHL express which is fast and reliable

UNWRAPPING:
-Carefully untie the string that wraps the whole juju hat base and it will start loosing itself open.
-Use your hand and push out the juju hat from the back center bottom of the raffia ring outwards so the feathers can fully flush out
-Again with your hand, carefully make sure the juju hat feathers are evenly spread to your taste

HANGING:
-My juju hats come complete for hanging with a small string loop around the raffia ring which is used to hang the juju hat across a nail on the wall
