I love creating beautiful edible things!

Several years ago, when my children had left the nest, I decided to take the Wilton cake decorating classes. I fell in love! So, for the next 3 years, I made a LOT of cakes out of my home and learned a LOT. Then, my first grandchild came along, and I took a little break from baking so much to spend time with my new little family. I am still just baking occasionally for family and friends. However, during my little break, I realized that I LOVE to work with gum paste and fondant to make interesting cake/cupcake toppers! I specialize in flowers. I can sit for hours and create my flowers and color them to make them come to life. I have now retired after 30 years as a public school teacher and now I have more time to make something special for you!
