Delivery times

All of our jewellery is handmade, but we do try to keep some items in stock. These will be sent within 4 working days of placing the order. Items personalised or made to order generally take up to 6 working days to be dispatched. Gold and made to order jewellery usually takes a little longer for despatch at around 2-4 weeks. Any time or date stated for delivery is an estimate only. If you require an item urgently for a special date or event please contact us as more often than not we can work to short time scales. Please do get in touch.

Delivery is free to all UK addresses. Goods are sent out using Royal Mail and may require a signature upon arrival.

Packaging

Your jewellery will be packaged safely and securely in an Alison Moore Designs signature gift box, finished with a ribbon. All orders are sent out in plain packaging and will only have the name Alison Moore Designs as the returns address in small on the outside. Each item over £100 will also receive a complimentary anti-tarnish jewellery polishing cloth to help keep your jewellery shiny.

International shipping

Please note that customers are responsible for all duties and customs charges.

IMPORT DUTY CHARGES

I have to mark the package with the appropriate customs declaration. This should help minimise any delays but you may attract a customs duty charge and or VAT. You will need to contact your local customs department for further details. Please bear this in mind when ordering and ensure that you are aware of potential customs charges before ordering.

Customs duty does not apply to packages sent within UK.

CUSTOM ORDERS/SPECIAL REQUESTS:
If you see something in the sold section that you are interested in purchasing please contact me to inquire about having that item re-created. I am always happy to re-create an item for you if I have the supplies available.

If you would like a matching pendant/earrings etc. to an item you see or require adjustments I can happily make up a custom order for you. Please get in touch.

The expectation is that you purchase the item within 3 days of the custom listing, or item will be listed in the shop.

The information is collected through the completion of online, in store or telephone orders and is used solely for the purpose of fulfilling the order. Details are also collected through enquiries, emails and quotes. Our lawful basis for collecting the information is contractual; your information is required for the fulfilment of the order.

WHAT WE DO WITH THE INFORMATION WE GATHER
We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, in particular for the following reasons:

Creating, dispatching and if necessary, contacting you regarding your order.
We may use the information to improve our products and services.
We may periodically send promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided. We will only do this IF you have consented to receiving such information via our newsletter.
We are legally obligated to hold any data relating to orders for a minimum of seven years for HMRC. Any details used out with the processing of your order are used as we have a legitimate interest.
