Grower
So - this was recommended at my Aveda salon. They all said this was their favourite so I thought I’d give it a try. I have long blonde highlighted hair in good condition. Sometimes a bit dry but overall pretty good. First couple times I used this in the shower - I obviously didn’t rinse out properly as when I went to dry my roots were all pasty! It is a thick pasty consistency unlike standard gel shampoos ... you really need to lather in and rinse well. I thought at first it was a disaster..! although I loved the smell. However, once I got used to it my hair did adjust and it dries really well. Hence 4 stars.

Just right for my hair
This has been my go-to shampoo (along with the conditioner) for quite a while now and it ticks all the boxes for me. I have long, VERY fine hair (but lots of it!) which has always been difficult to manage. Since I reached menopause, I have found my hair to be drier and more brittle, but this combo is perfect. It leaves my hair shiny and hydrated but without weighing it down. I can't comment on how it smells as I have never had a sense of smell. The only negative point I can think of is the name - Sap Moss doesn't sound all that appealing!

It’s back!
This is my all time favourite shampoo ever! . I was gutted when it was discontinued a few years back. Although Paul Mitchell’s awapuhi and wild ginger lather shampoo is great alternative, it doesn’t quite match the moisturising qualities of sap moss. I leave the Shampoo on for a bit then rinse thoroughly for beautifully clean, soft hair.

Fabulously Moisturising
I bought this shampoo and the conditioner after visiting an aveda stand and having a hair and scalp assessment which resulted in Sap moss being recommended. I thought the products were very expensive and I was sceptical about whether they would be worth it. Having used this 3 times now, I would say it definitely is worth it! My hair is so soft, manageable and shiny. It feels very bouncy and healthy and my hair styling time has been reduced by about 30%. I have knocked one star off as I am not a huge fan of the scent, it isn’t unpleasant, just very earthy. The scent does linger in your hair and I would prefer it to be more floral but I can put up with this as the products are so moisturising and make my hair feel great. Would recommend.
