The location of Ndar Ndar house in the historic centre of Saint-Louis is very convenient! Rooms were very spacious, beds were great, but above all Omar and colleagues were great staff. They were very helpful in organising our days in Saint-Louis and they make great juices and breakfasts! Highly recommendable!

Saint-Louis has a completely different charm from the rest of Senegal. You can feel it in the air. It's a vibrant, but yet laid-back town on an island. Worth visiting if you like colonial architecture and good food and want to combine it with visits to some natural parks and reserves, including the UNESCO listed Djudj.

This is one of my worst hotel experience.
This is one of my worst hotel experience. The room where I lodged where very noisy. All the hotel staffers just do not care about the calmness and speak loudly from the yard. The breakfast was very basic. The owner seems cocky and racist. Truly dissapointing experience.

The city is beautiful but seems abandoned.
The city is beautiful but seems abandoned. Hopefully, they will restore it in the near future so we can see its beauty again. There is also a lot of beggars in the street and it deteriorates the overall experience. You should be accompanied by a local to enjoy the city.

Saint Louis is a friendly town to spend a couple of days .
Saint Louis is a friendly town to spend a couple of days .
the colonial district is atmospheric with a nice vibe .
The beach side to the town is a working residential area for fishermen families so not the prettiest and does smell in parts but still worth an explore . A couple of kilometers further north in the direction of Mauritania the town gives way to pristine sand beaches . There is no shade just sea and sand .

Saint Louis is a must see.
Saint Louis is a must see. However, you need to taylor your expectations. This was once a beautiful town under the French, but the senegalis don't maintain it, so expect crumbling houses and goats strolling the streets. Still you should see it and help them improve their tourism!

Fishing area interesting. Town ok for "transit/brief look".
Fishing area interesting. Town ok for "transit/brief look". Hotel location poor - choose somewhere more central. I live in Gambia, so used to beggars / but mainly adults. Here LOTS of beggars, VERY persistent boys

The hotel was a nice refuge in Saint Louis fro the dust and trash of the town. The owner/ manager was nice and professional. He greeted me by my name when I arrived. The 2nd floor room was large enough with a basic bed, wall AC, a desk, and a fridge. The bathroom was fine with a good shower. There was a central "atrium" to let in air and light to the rooms. The 1st breakfast area was fine
Staying at the first hotel ever built in Senegal was an delightful, unexpected experience.
The place is still conserving its ancient, original architecture and design.
The hotel manager Mrs Adja is so nice and hospitable and runs the hotel firmly.
The location is perfect just at the exit of bridge Faidherbe.
I recommend Hotel de la Poste if you want to have an authentic experience.
The location was fabulous, the rooms were lovely, the dinner was delicious. The best thing was the staff who were absolutely fabulous and so very kind and understanding. We're all hoping to return to Hotel Ganiol in the future as they staff were so great. I wish them the very best for the future and hope their business will thrive.
The breakfast was lovely with omlettes, fruit, cheese, meats, bread and crepes. The hotel itself had alot of character and the staff were very attentive. The man on reception actually arranged for me to get euros changed and got them delivered which was really helpful. The decor was pretty cool and there was a big TV in the bar
The hotel is charming in its colonial design, the food is very good, and the staff got friendlier with each day I stayed there.
It is right on the river and provides excellent views of Faidherbe Bridge (Senegal's answer to the Golden Gate Bridge)!
The place was quiet, and they had a pleasant reading/ sun room on the terrace.
I spent amazing time at the hotel.
The stuff were my highlight.
They made me feel like home.

Centrally located, thoughtfully decorated, friendly staff, great vibe. Definitely felt like I lucked out and was staying at the best place in old Saint-Louis.
Oumar went above and beyond to help me out when there was a snafu with my transportation on the day of my departure.
Great location in the middle of the colonial town, so very easy to walk to restaurants, shops, museums. Old-time hotel that retained its charm, while having updated services (bathrooms). Very comfortable bed and excellent shower. The yoghurt at breakfast is fantastic.
1-hotel needs security cameras
2-they need to have their own room key instead of taking it back from guest everyday when going out
3-we found ourselves sitting outside waiting for somebody to let us back in the hotel because the main entrance door was locked
The staff are very friendly and gracious to those who do not speak French well. We were able to relax and enjoy a respite away from the city of Saint-Louis. The breakfast was adequate, but not abundant. Other meals were very good, including poolside snacks.
The hotel formerly known as Sunu Keur is a great place to stay at to explore St. Louis. Clean rooms, nice yard and roof terrace and very friendly and helpful staff, even if you are not able to speak french. I would come back any time.
Located close to the waterfront and a very short walk from the main buildings of Ile Saint-Louis. The room was spacious. I did not try the breakfast. The staff was really nice and helpful, many thanks to the team!
Enjoyable boutique hotel. Staff support was superb (forgotten charger, misunderstanding in my part about breakfast handled well). Great decor for its price point. St. Louis needs more places like this.
conveniently located on the island of Saint-Louis, spotlessly clean rooms with comfortable beds and hot shower, nice breakfast, good value and friendly staff. cheap laundry wash available.
Great small hotel in a colonial building
Nice, cozy room
In the heart of Saint Louis , close to bars and restaurants
