GLARING CATS USING ENGLISH PAPER PIECING

It is a great little project to use up your fabric scraps. It looks better for every cat to be a different fabric with little pink noses and white or cream cheeks.
This is a hand project that can be taken anywhere you can sit and sew.
Make as many or as few as you choose, they all tessellate with either the faces the same way up or alternating columns upside down.

You will need buttons for the eyes; I used up to three layers per eye to get the effect, background fabric and a border and binding. Use any fabric for your backing and an off-cut of wadding.
The quilting design is included with the instructions so that you can create the same effect, use an embroidery perle thread which is then whip stitched to show up the quilting design.
