One of the best hotels from Maafushi. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room had amazing view and impeccable clean ( after our check out I saw that they cleaned the room for more than 1 hour, including glass walls of the balcony, on inner and outer side, too). Also they cleaned the room every day perfectly.
Breakfast was also very good.

This is a small, cozy guesthouse. The service is super level in terms of support and assistance, they will help and tell you where and how to go or how to book. Shozol and another one employ a very kind and nice managers. The food is simple and unpretentious, but fresh. My Wi-Fi was excellent, but you get tired of reconnecting every couple of minutes. This is a great place for those who constantly go on excursions every day.

The trips on offer are spectacular. I would advise you understand the type of boat you are going on and check the weather. Salt Beach do fabulous trips and the guys on the boats are great. We did have a trip with 'Maldivian Fellows' I was very disappointed with this one as they didn't have watchers looking at the people in the water and showed no encouragement to people that were a little nervous like 'Salt Beach' guys We did the parasailing which was fabulous. We booked this with the guys next to the bikini beach and they were great. Ive been to the island 5 times now and love its rustic charm although it is getting busier. I can highly recommend the 'Juice Vibe' for the best coffee and juices. There are lots of restaurants to choose from, my favourites are 'Moonlight' which is situated at the opposite end to bikini beach and the Indian restaurant next to the Kanni hotel. People of Maafushi treat you based on the following: if you are white-skinned and living in a resort, you get the best treatments. After that, white-skinned, then brown-skinned in the resort, and the rest are treated like they don't belong in their precious land. Their definition of hospitality means you are meant to agree and not counter when they suggest something. If you have a different opinion, you are rude and disrespectful. It is a very beautiful small island with very warm and hospitable people. With azure water and golden beaches. Prices are very affordable, there are several good restaurants. It was impossible to swim because there are many reefs in the water inside and we caught our feet many times, which is why we could not go into deep water, and near the shore there is waist-deep water. No one has informed us about this. The hotel must inform the guests about such details in advance. It would be good if there would be a bridge for those who want to swim in deep water, which would give them the opportunity to go directly into deep water.

Everyone is friendly and want to make sure you have a good time. Many options to rent water crafts, fun water sport items. Many excursions that give you exactly as they are advertise. Maafushi is currently a construction site.
Maafushi is currently a construction site. There is building work everywhere on the island which is only 1km x 300m. It is not a paradise island at the moment. There are lots of restaurant options but it is not cheap if you choose a venue that doesn't include the service charge and government tax in the meal price. I would avoid Maafushi until its been re-built.

They have good restaurant on the first floor and i found out that it was one of the most popular restaurants on the island, with reasonable prices, also they give 12% discount for the hotel guests. I guess the restourant is the main busuness and hotel is secondary, but it does not make it worse. The owner is very kind, personally takes care of gusts, gave us late checkout without charge. Note: If you have luggage you must have carrier. He also upgrade our standard room to suite for free. The hostel is opened recently so everything is clean and new plus covered by strong wifi. The hostel has shisha and area for chilling. One of the best places i found in maafushi and Maldives.

Helpful staff, perfect location if you want to stay on the crowdy beach… Maafushi is not Maldives but there are so many options to spend the day outside the hotel and the island. Kaani beach is a normal hotel, a little bit outdated but clean. Comfortable beds and pillows- that is important. We just need to sleep there.
