Thanks so much for visiting my shop. I am honoured you are here, and proud to share my work with you. I'm hoping that you enjoy these pebble art designs, as each one means something special to me. We had fun looking for all the treasures that went into creating them. Growing up on beautiful Vancouver in British Columbia, Canada, has led to a strong love of the ocean and nature. I hope to pass some love and inspiration on to you.

Some artists use paint or other materials to portray their art and vision; I use special stones, beautiful pebbles, frosty beach glass, detailed shells, unique pieces of driftwood and other beach treasures. Not only does my family and I enjoy beach-combing the beautiful Pacific shores for these amazing finds, but later, while I sit quietly I swear I can sometimes hear what the pieces have to say. Creating art is definitely a treasure in itself.

This whole experience has been such an exciting journey for my family and I. My first shadow box design was a bride and groom pebble art design I made for my sister's wedding. I wanted to bring them something special from the West Coast, as they now live in the desert, and also celebrate their special event. While walking the beach one day with my family, a beautiful oyster shell caught my eye, and I envisioned a tiered wedding dress, much like the one my sister was going to wear. Everything sort of evolved from there to create a unique, one of a kind wedding gift for them.

I have made a series of shadow box pebble art pieces since then to portray, celebrate and represent many of life's special occasions and other West Coast scenes. ALL MY DESIGN ARE ORIGINAL and have a special story to my family and I. As a former health care professional, I value the creative side this has opened up for me and continue to enjoy exploring where this journey leads.

I have been very blessed to meet some incredible customers along this path who have challenged and inspired me to continue to excel and grow professionally and personally. They have pushed me to explore and better my unique craft with their stories of braveness and tales of overcoming challenging situations and life events.

I have also learned so much since I began, and met many generous and talented Etsy shop owners. It is MY go to place for unique gifts and home decor needs:-)
Opening an Etsy shop has been an excellent way for me to work from home and raise our two children, 9 and 11, who are home-schooled. I feel so blessed to be able to be a stay at home mom, and I hope this venture allows a bit of extra income for our family, while also getting us outside in nature.

My husband (age 39) suffered a subarachnoid hemorrhage/ ruptured brain aneurysm Aug 2017. It's been a tough journey and as we approach a year post op, we're all so much stronger. It's given our whole family a new take on life and I can't wait to see how it translates to my pebble artwork!
