These are sized by shoe size - not by age! Age-wise, this pattern goes from about 7 years old to adult. This might help: http://www.zappos.com/measure-your-shoe-size

These sizes continue from the kid pattern! =) This size 1 immediately follows the kids' size 13 - each size is 1/3" larger than the previous size.
