FAQs
Q: What are the benefits of a scuba headband?
A: Hair you can brush after a dive, no more hair caught in your dive strap, no more fly away hairs messing up your scuba selfies, and they can wrangle your saltwater hair on the dive boat.
Q: How should I wear my scuba headband?
A: Wear it toward the middle of your forehead, over your ears, and 1-3 inches into your hairline.
Q: Should I buy a 3.5-inch or a 6-inch headband?
A: Both will work in the pool and ocean, it depends on preference. The 6-inch headbands will cover your entire head so if you are removing your mask a lot (teaching), have a lot of hair, or are in a current, this is the headband for you. The 3.5-inch headband will cover less of your head so if you are diving in calm waters, want to use it for yoga, or have a smaller head, this headband is for you.
Q: How do I care for my headband?
A: Care for it the same way you would your swimsuit (its the same material). I recommend rising it with fresh cold water after a dive and hanging it up to dry.
Q: Why is my headband slipping off?
A: You might be wearing the headband too far back on your head. When you wear a headband for style, you place it in the middle of your head. Since these are for function, you want them overlapping your hairline/forehead.
