This selection of blocks is probably even more interesting to my three year old than a unified set would have been. Our block set included a few novelty shapes (honeycombs, a gingerbread house, a faceted gem, and a couple popsicles). The more typical blocks are cubes, rectangular and triangular prisms, etc. We got a big variety of colors. As the listing suggests, some have air bubbles, some have scratches, some are uneven. None of these imperfections is a problem for me. I’m really pleased with my purchase! They’re fun to touch, look at, stack, and line up. Maybe this wouldn’t be the right block set for a family with a highly curated toy shelf, but it’s been perfect for us.
