What do I do if my item arrives damaged?
Do not throw away the item and the packaging; the Postal Service often requires that you bring all original items in to the Post Office before they will approve the refund. If you do not keep the original packaging along with the broken item, including all packing materials, and if the Post Office requires an in-person review of the insurance claim, you will not receive a refund.
You must file your damage claim for USPS orders here: https://onlineclaims.usps.com/OICWeb/searchClaim
You will have your Etsy order receipt and the damage photos. Please email me to get the USPS Mailing Label receipt I purchased to send your item, which you will also be required to upload to the USPS damage claim. I will send you the receipt right away.
