The Susan Shawl is an easy rectangular crochet shawl. This lightweight shawl works up quick and easy. The openwork stitch patterns look beautiful in a classic cream color. Or, you can experiment with different colors and make stripes or blocks of color. This shawl also works well as a crochet prayer shawl pattern.
Both ends of the shawl include two rows of crossed double crochet stitches to add a decorative touch. The rest of the shawl is worked in rows of single crochet and two types of openwork stitch patterns. Once you have the pattern repeat down, this is a relaxing project to make.
