This cool kids activity brings nature inside. It's awesome to watch the kids hang up their shapes and see the sun "shine up" the colors. Kids of all ages will enjoy this craft, as well as adults.

I originally started making butterflies last winter for a playgroup activity. After seeing butterflies and birds at the botanical gardens, we crafted these sun catchers. Everyone loved them so much, I decided to offer them in my shop and to make some for each season! Each shape is based on one of my hand drawn designs-unique to Hello Sprout.

The shapes are cut from high quality black cardstock paper.The largest bat has a wingspan of 11 inches, others are 5-6 inches. Includes 6 Paper cuts for decorating. The Butterfly is the largest with a 11 inch wingspan, the Bees measure about. 4.5 x 5 and the birds are 6 inches long.

For young kids, use contact paper and small tissue paper pieces that they can sprinkle and press on. Older kids and adults can use a glue stick and arrange each piece of tissue paper by hand. Complete instructions included.
