Bamboo
As a member of the grass family, bamboo is one of the fastest growing plants on earth. It requires no irrigation, pesticides or fertilizers to grow, and can be harvested within 3-5 years, as compared to approximately 30+ years for traditional hardwoods. Bamboo is extremely adaptable and produces more oxygen per acre than large tree species, while using a fraction of the water to grow. Its durable and lightweight qualities make bamboo a great alternative for hard wood products!

Charitable
This company donates a portion of their time or profits to charitable efforts in their community or abroad.

Compostable
This product contains material that can break down into soil in either a backyard or industrial composting system. These products are declared compostable by the manufacturer, but may not third-party certified. Contact your local waste-hauler or composting facility to determine where these materials may be accepted. Certain materials may be better fit for industrial facilities than backyard composting systems. Industrial facilities may not exist in your area.

If you want to avoid Parabens in your beauty products, keep an eye out for methylparaben, propylparaben, butylparaben, and ethylparaben in the ingredients list.

NOT Kinesio Tape

I bought this based on the previous reviewer saying they use it as kinesio tape because that's what I wanted to use it as. It does not stretch AT ALL so it can't be used like that. I tried taping my knee (the same as I would with kinesio tape) with it and as soon as I bent my knee it came unstuck because it could not stretch with me. It clearly is not meant for that use because it is called "rigid" on the label so that's on me for buying it anyway. I'm sure it works great for whatever application one would use rigid tape for. I was really excited to potentially find a compostable kinesio tape but this isn't it. If that's what you're looking for, then keep looking.

Nice, effective compostable option | Need to fix backing paper

I've found this to be an effective replacement to KT tape. What's annoying is that the backing paper isn't one singular piece, but two. It makes it very difficult to smoothly wrap my ankle as the two pieces don't pull away from the tape evenly, so I'm constantly having to stop and start the taping action. I have yet to be able to tape my ankle smoothly, and I end up using more tape as a result. It would be better to have the backing paper as one piece/sheet, or better yet, eliminate it.
