Christmas cacti are a very popular houseplant for good reason! When they bloom, they produce colorful, tubular flowers in pink or lilac colors. Their long bloom time, & easy care requirements make them a wonderful plant. We'll bet someone in your family has a Christmas Cactus! Unlike many other cacti, Christmas cacti don't live in an arid environment. Their natural habit is one of an epiphyte living in tree branches, in the rain forests of Brazil! In other words, they prefer a humid climate, not a dry one, so it's important to water these cacti.
● One of the most popular houseplants during the holiday season.
● The small, flat green stem segments are smooth, except for the toothed edges. There are no spines such as seen on many desert cactuses. The flower buds form at the tips of the topmost segments.
● It is an easy care, flowering plant that can live for 100 years, being passed on from generation to generation. With each passing year, your Christmas Cactus gets bigger and more impressive.
● Place your Christmas Cactus plant in bright indirect light, but never direct sun.
Each of our plants are unique just like you. They come in various shades, heights, and sizes. Our product photos give you the best representation of the plant you may receive, but they may look slightly different upon arrival.
Shipping and handling can be very tough on live plants, so please be sure to open and check your plant right away. Our team waters each plant before it is shipped and wrapped, so it may not need to be watered right away. We strongly recommend allowing 3-4 weeks for your plant to acclimate to its new home before re-potting it.
We are unable to ship live plants to California, Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico.
