The fit is loose, with side bust darts and a gathered skirt with optional waist ties, and is easily modified for maternity and nursing. Don’t feel like buttons? Cut the front bodice on the fold for a placket-free hack. You might consider lengthening the bodice and hacking it into an adorable cropped top, too! I like this dress. For those who care, this dress was made for a C cup. So a lower bust adjustment with dart is necessary if you are a size A. Use YouTube. I actually used a pattern that fit me and had a dart. Then I just put it over their pattern and adjusted the dart and shape, then I angled from the top corner of the sleeve hole 2 sizes in for a fitted look. If you are a cup A it will fit on the shoulders and above the Breast area but the dart will be very low and extra fabric from breast to waist. Hence the lower bust adjustment. They actually tell you in the pattern it is C and to use adjustments if necessary.
