The Rowlinson Highview Hideaway Playhouse will improve any garden, delivering an adventurous hangout to inspire your children's imaginations and give them a designated place to have fun alone or with friends and family.
The fixed glazed window and 2 windows with shutters compliments the exterior to this stunning self-assembly Hideaway and provide plenty of daylight inside. 12mm tongue and groove cladding as well as 19mm boarded floor and veranda has been used for the high view platform which features a small fence that works as a very useful balcony, whilst the short stairs enable easy access.
The natural wood on this playhouse provides you with the opportunity to decorate as it can be painted or stained to further enhance the aesthetics to your own taste.
Child safety has been considered following the European Standard EN71 and this has been retested whenever necessary to ensure compliance at all times.

Difficult 18hrs+build , needs skilled carpenter
I’ve completed the build now but really unhappy with the product and the quality.
As there is no quality control before leaving the yard / warehouse I received the pack out with multiple broken pieces (This may of happened in transit). Because of this I had to audit the whole pack which took me 2hrs and found 3 broken pieces.
I order on 20th April and had to wait till 17th May to start the build. Albeit with broken parts. I had to chase twice to get these as when you didn’t have parts in stock, no comms were relayed to me. The team where more than happy to send replacements parts but this shouldn't happen multiple times.
Out of the 3 replacements parts, one was broken, even though additional “packing” lumber had been used to support them. Not wanting to wait another 2 weeks I decided to proceed.
On starting the build I found lumber not fit for purpose, lengths of lumber with knots across the entire width (which makes it fragile and not suitable for building supporting frames) so I had to replace at my cost. (again didn't offer to replace, but had a 4 years who had already waited a month)..
The build it self took about 18hrs, not the suggested 2hrs. I’m an experienced home DIYer. Once I had built the frame/platform I was helped by a professional carpenter.
His view was the parts where of poor quality, we had to do lots of fixes to make it fit together. Example being the roof parts 12 and 14. They should have slots cut to fit supporting lumber 19 & 20 and also the roof panels 21. The slots were only cut to fit 12 and 14.
I’m going to have to buy additional lumber, waterproofing paint (as the roof design doesn’t allow water to drain to complete the build.
All in all the end result is good, but you need experience of building, levelling the ground, laying foundations to prevent rot and a free weekend.

Whilst we do all that we can to prevent this, from time to time, orders can experience slight delays in courier networks. Robert Dyas is unable to compensate for any loss of funds to third party organisations.

In the UK you have a legal right, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations June 2014, to cancel your order within fourteen (14) days following your receipt of the goods. Refunds for orders cancelled under the provisions of the Consumer Contracts Regulations will be processed in accordance with your legal rights.
You may not cancel orders for the following types of products:
- Electrical/Technical products which have been unsealed
- Customised or bespoke Products
- Anything of a nature that for hygiene or associated health and safety - this includes the Outdoor Spas, Mattresses and Divan Sets
- Fresh food
- Perishable items including live plants and Trees
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations June 2014 you have a duty to take reasonable care of Products whilst they are in your possession. You will receive a full refund of the purchase price of the Products.

How To Return A Product
If you wish to return your item to Robert Dyas, you can do so by the following method:
1. Request a Collection via Robert Dyas Customer Services
Contact our Customer Services team who will be able to arrange a collection for your item with the supplier. Please ensure that you provide your order number when contacting customer services.
If you are not at home when we try to collect we reserve the right to deduct from your refund or charge your credit card the direct costs to us of the failed return in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
