Based on GDPR requirements, I am introducing my Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how and when we collect, use, and share information when you purchase an item from us, contact us, or otherwise use our services through Etsy.com or its related sites and services.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of third parties that we do not own or control, including Etsy or any third party services you access through Etsy. You can reference the Etsy Privacy Policy to learn more about its privacy practices.
By buying goods from us or by using our service, you expressly agree that your personal data will be collected and processed by us and you guarantee their accuracy and credibility. You also declare that you have been informed of the type of personal data we collect and process for the purposes for which they will be used, and of your right to access, correct or delete the collected personal data. If you don't want us to collect or process your personal information in the ways described in this policy, you should not place orders with us, buy goods from us or use our services.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
To fulfil your order, you must provide us with certain information (which you authorized Etsy to provide to us), such as your name, email address, postal address, payment information, telephone number and the details of the product that you’re ordering. For custom orders you may also choose to provide us with additional personal information (your sewing measurements for example).
Personal information you use for comments or reviews on the shop site is public and visible to other people. It can be read, used and collected by them. You are responsible for the personal information you provide in these cases.
2. WHY WE NEED YOUR INFORMATION AND HOW WE USE IT
We rely on a number of legal bases to collect, use, and share your information, including:
- to answer to your inquiries, to fulfil your order, to deliver your order, to settle disputes, or to provide customer support and services
- to fulfil our tax obligations (like paying taxes), customs obligations and book keeping
- if necessary to comply with a legal obligation or court order or in connection with a legal claim, such as retaining information about your purchases if required by tax law;
as necessary for the purpose of our legitimate interests, if those legitimate interests are not overridden by your rights or interests, such as 1) providing and improving our services. I use your information to provide the services you requested and in my legitimate interest to improve my services; and 2) Compliance with the Etsy Seller Policy and Terms of Use. I use your information as necessary to comply with my obligations under the Etsy Seller Policy and Terms of Use.
