"With Introspection Comes Self-Discovery"

IntrospectionJewelry is a concept that I have been playing with for some time.

I have always loved jewelry, as anyone who knows me personally can attest. I have always considered jewelry to be a reflection, and expression of the self, and am drawn to, and will carefully select pieces of jewelry that speak to me on a deeply personal level.

It is this self-reflection, or introspection, that led me to the concept behind my shop. Each piece I create is done with great introspection as to what I wish to express, and hand crafted with the feeling of inspiration that strikes me at the time. In creating my jewelry in such a fashion, I am able to express a truly unique story through each piece I create, and to pass along that story to others.

Jewelry making started for me when I struggled to find a piece of jewelry that I could envision directly in my mind, but, sadly, could not find in any store. I decided, after some time of searching fruitlessly, that I would try to create my own vision. The moment I picked up my pliers for the first time, and crafted the very vision I had been searching for, I knew that I had stumbled onto something I wished to continue.

From just a single pair of pliers, and a few hand selected pendants, IntrospectionJewelry has grown into my own complex organizational system, and has sparked in me a light of creativity in a way that other crafts never have.

For me, jewelry making is not only a hobby, and a greatly enjoyable one at that, but a place of solace and comfort, where I am free to express my inner most thoughts in a craft that demands not only creativity, but deep introspection, to create.
