Custom and personalized orders

Need more yardage? Is there a fabric in the bundle you wish were different? We carry most of our fabrics by the bolt. If you don’t see what you need for your project, contact us for a special listing. Custom orders must be purchased within 48 hours to ensure availability.

Fat quarters measure approximately 18” x 21” each
½ yards measure approximately 18” x 43” each

Does Fabric Stork refund shipping overages?

Yes, all shipping costs are estimates. We will refund shipping overages of $1 or more.

If the shipping charges are estimates, what if it costs more to ship than what is estimated?

In the rare event that the shipping charges are more than the estimated cost, we will contact you and once we confirm the cost change we will ship your order as quickly as possible.

Do you cut the fabrics in continuous yardage?

Yes! Unless you specify otherwise, we will cut multiple orders of the same fabric in continuous yardage.

Do you accept returns?

Unhappy with your purchase? We understand! It happens sometimes. We will consider returns on a case-by-case basis. If a return is authorized, the product must be returned in original condition. This means un-cut, unwashed, odor-free, and without stains, marks, pet hair, or other alterations.

Unless they arrive with manufacturing or workmanship defects, we cannot accept returns on custom cuts or personalized orders, patterns, books, and sale items. Fabric Stork does not assume liability for items once they are shipped and so cannot reimburse for items that are damaged, lost or stolen during the shipping process.

In order to be considered for refund, please:
1. Contact us within 7 days of delivery.
2. Ship the return with 14 days.

How long before my order is shipped?

We work hard to get your order to you as soon as possible! Orders placed Monday-Friday will usually ship within 1-3 days. Orders placed on weekends or holidays usually ship within 1-2 days after. If you have an urgent need, please convo us and we'll do everything we can to ship you order so it meets your deadlines! We can also postpone the shipping of your order if that works for you schedule too. Just let us know.

Why does my fabric have a smell?

Due to the manufacturing process and the dyes used in many of today's fabrics, they have a smell that come from the factory that way. There is nothing that we can do about this, except let it air out for some time. (Kind of like the weird fabric smell of a new shirt)

We do not use any perfumes or smells of any kind in our packing, shipping process, or fabrics. We have no pets and we do not smoke. We wash our hands before working with the fabrics. We take every precaution possible to make sure that YOU get the best product possible, every time. Just like you we LOVE fabrics! We do our best to have the fabrics air out in our shop, but sometimes with high demand we are not able to do this. So just let it air out a bit before starting.

Can I cancel my order?

Orders can usually be canceled within 24 hours.

However, SALE ITEMS CANNOT BE CANCELED AS THEY ARE FINAL SALE!!!

Also, ITEMS THAT HAVE PREVIOUSLY BEEN ORDERED AND THAT ARE NOW ON SALE CANNOT BE CANCELED OR REDUCED IN PRICE.

After 24 hours, an order has normally been cut and put into the shipping process, but contact us anyway just in case it has not been cut yet. We cannot cancel orders that have already been cut, as it cannot be added back onto the bolt of fabric.
If you have ordered a pre-cut, non-custom bundle or a pre-cut quilt bundle, then this can normally be canceled up to the point of being packaged and shipped, with few exceptions. Please contact us with any questions or concerns. We will do our best to work with each case.

Can you hold an item for me that has not been paid yet?

Yes, you may request to have us hold a specific item for you. Just send us a message and we will gladly reserve that item for 24 hours after it has been listed or after you have received notification from us that the item is ready to be purchased either through the shop as a listing or as custom order. If you have changed your mind and no longer want us to hold it for you, please notify us as soon as possible. :)
