Frequently asked questions
Do you ship multi item orders together so I can save on the shipping?
Yes. Multi item purchases will be shipped together. Combined shipping discounts should usually be calculated automatically. If they are not please let us know.
What happens with returns?
Returns are accepted when shipped back within four days of receiving. Buyers are responsible for return tracked shipping. Original shipping expenses are not credited. Free shipping items are refunded minus our cost of shipping the item to you.
Unclaimed or Undelivered Parcels
Packages that are unclaimed and returned to Great North Vintage Co. due to unclaimed status, become property of Great North Vintage Co. The postal system ships items back to the shop at the shops expense. Items are resold to recoup this cost. Some items do not find their way back to us.
Is my privacy respected and protected?
Yes. The information you provide is used only to fulfill orders.
I provided the wrong address to Etsy. What do I do?
Non delivered items usually will make their way back to the shop. Unfortunately the return process is very slow and takes several months. The shop usually has to pay the return shipping so if you would like the item shipped to you again, to an updated address, we will be required to charge shipping as well as the return fee. We only charge actual shipping for this service.
International items & Duty
When buyers refuse parcels because they prefer to not pay duty, these items are shipped back to the shop at our expense. Refunds are not offered on these purchases.
