This formulation contains 5 forms of hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a humectant found naturally in the skin where it binds to water. The forms included are low-, medium- and high-molecular- weight molecules, a HA crosspolymer, and hydrolyzed HA. The formulation also contains ceramides to help keep moisture locked in. Ceramides are lipids (fatty molecules) found naturally in the skin that help protect the skin barrier. The ceramides used in this formula are known as sphingolipids. Pro-vitamin B5 keeps the skin moisturised for longer.

Nice but not perfect
Really moisturising and certainly does what it promises but I find it dries a little tacky on the skin

Great for the price, found a slight difference in my skin but I’ve only been using for 3 wks so can’t expect a miracle…. Nice and light and my skin soaks it up …. Doesn’t leave any tackiness on the skin. I would definitely re purchase…

The Ordinary serum
This hyaluronic acid 2% + B5 serum feels lovely on the skin, instantly absorbs, lightweight and hydrating. I’ve used it morning and evening over the last 3 weeks, I feel it has given my face a bit of a boost and it hasn’t irritated my sensitive skin.

I really liked this Hyaluronic Acid serum by The Ordinary, I've used it for almost a month now and have felt a difference to my normally dry, acne prone skin. This didn't break me out and left my skin feeling hydrated and supple.

Great, inexpensive skin care
Great serum, feels nice and lightweight, I thought that I would try an inexpensive range to get a feel of what it offers. My skin does feel replenished after using this, however, personally, I have not seen any visible results as of yet but I do have problematic skin! I think it’s worth the price and I see it has great reviews so looks to work for the majority!
