The Bullseye Goal:
Goals can be hard. Especially when you’re figuring out how to get started. Sometimes it’s just a matter of breaking down that goal into chewable chunks before the work begins. This relieves stress and allows us to see the progress being made before the goal is achieved.
The Bullseye Goal is included on our weekly spread because having a weekly goal is a pretty cool way to stride inch by inch to what you want to achieve. Having weekly goals gives you mini victories along your journey.
Think of a reasonable goal that you could achieve in the next week. This can be something as small as “fix a tire on your bike” up to something like “write a first draft to a short story.” Now split that goal up into 5 five mini goals. If your goal is to fix the tire on your bike, the first goal could be—“look up a Youtube video on how to fix a tire.” Then, the second could be “gather supplies.” The way you split up your goal is up to you, but believe us when we say that filling in that center of the bullseye and completely your overall goal is quite satisfying.
