  • "Second time I have stayed here and love it's size and position on The Parrog."

Will definately be back again! Only criticism is that the shower cubicle door could do with fixing (door is very stiff), double duvets on the single beds so you can wrap your self up toasty (as adults sleeping in them they kept slipping off when you turned over) and having a wood burner in the snug for cold nights would be the icing on the cake!

We are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for the feedback, we will certainly check the shower door. There is a spare double duvet (and spare single duvet) in one of the first floor bedroom wardrobes and blankets too for guests to use. We look forward to welcoming you back again! Property Owner

The property

Nestled at the heart of the quaint, seaside town of Newport, a settlement resting on the mouth of the River Nevern, lies this charming, four-bedroom holiday home, Neverndale.

Set over three floors, boasting off-road parking; bright, vibrant interiors, terrific views of the Nevern Estuary and Newport Sands, as well as superb positioning to nearby attractions and amenities, this delightful property welcomes eight guests and their two well-behaved dogs for a refreshing, self-catered getaway to one of the most desirable locations on the Pembrokeshire coast.

Once you’ve unpacked your belongings, make yourself comfortable in your new home-from-home, where a fully-equipped kitchen/diner provides everything the chosen chefs will need to conjure up a delicious feast for the whole group to savour around the dining table, whilst a well-appointed sitting room complete with plush seating serves as a great place to unwind with a glass of your favourite beverage whilst you catch up on the day’s events.

In warmer months, take your festivities out into the large, lawned garden, where you can perch on the outdoor furniture to enjoy your alfresco meals, or even just raise a glass to toast your holiday whilst you soak in the fresh air and your tranquil surroundings.

As day rolls into night, treat yourself to an indulgent bath or a restorative shower before you finally retire for a well-earned sleep in one of the four opulent bedrooms.

If you can tear yourself away from your idyllic new dwelling, a short walk will bring you to Parrog Beach, which is a firm favourite for children and adults alike due to its lush sands, the numerous rock pools that appear at low tide, and the sunsets you can enjoy from here.

Make the short stroll into the centre of Newport, where you can book a table at Tides Kitchen & Wine Bar for some seafood cuisine, enjoy some traditional pub grub at the Castle Inn, or even purchase some fresh fish from the Newport Shellfish Co to cook up and enjoy back at home.

Whilst you’re in town, be sure to stop by the Carreg Coetan attraction on your way to the River Nevern Wildfowl Conservation Area.

Enjoy all of this and much more when you book a stay at Neverndale.
