This is a pattern for a lace wrap that is still fairly warm. It is made using a single stitch that has lots of texture that allows it to maintain its warmth even when blocked. It is finished with two pockets, and an optional crocheted edging. The final size is 24 inches X 84 inches. There are instructions for an optional edging contained within the pattern, should you want it edged. There are also instructions for pocket placement.

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a basic knowledge of lace knitting)

The yarn used in the sample was knit with Lorna's Laces Worsted Weight yarn (https://lornas-laces.myshopify.com/collections/all/shepherd-worsted) in colorway pewter.

I’m only about 10 inches in... but I love this design! It is knitting up beautifully and I can tell it’s going to be soft and cozy. My only suggestion is the pattern would be easier to read if the slip stitches and end knit stitches were included in the actual written Row instructions. Once I learned the pattern it wasn’t a big deal, but initially I had to frog it several times because I kept forgetting.
