Rated 4 out of 5 by from Looks good but hard to assemble Really like the look and design of this. However the instructions need to be clearer and more detailed in regards the which side of the legs the planters go into. Ideally the holes could be pre-drilled or at least marked up before dispatch.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Herb Planter The herb planter seemed to be exactly what I wanted and was delivered in good time. However some of the troughs were damaged and needed to be repaired during the assembly process. Although I felt it was a good price I did'nt feel the quality was as I expected.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Don’t waste your money or time Not very well made, staples had to be hammered back in, also surely they could put drill holes in to make this very heavy item a bit easier to put together, and to top it all one piece had the hinges the wrong way round, I just couldn’t put it together as picture until I changed the hinges around. In all a very expensive piece considering the work it took to put together and the quality was very poor, idea was good but should be half the price for shoddy made goods.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pretty over practical I bought this as it seemed unusual, but it is a strange construction and not very stable. Shelves are not very deep so can only use for small growth non spreading plants/herbs.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Difficult to assemble The complete absence of any pilot holes for the screws makes the assembly somewhat challenging and mars an otherwise decent product. How difficult would it be for the manufacturer to drill or mark the correct positions for the various parts? A set square and a wood clamp are probably essential to ensure that the legs are fixed at a right angle to the troughs. I also found a tape measure useful. The instructions make it look straightforward, but extra care is needed in order to avoid ending up with a wonky planter. Fortunately, I was happy with the final result. Good luck!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not the quality expected - had to do some repairs The quality was not what I would have expected from Robert Dyas. One of the troughs was damaged and all needed the ends banging in correctly as there were gaps between sides and ends. The troughs are also not that deep, if you buy established herbs from garden centre you will need to break down to plant them. On the plus side the frame was quite good and have managed to make it work

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor design wood was broken when it arrived My husband had to use own wood to make this fit for purpose . I contacted customer services and the response took so long he just fixed it himself. Very poor item for the amount it costs and not easy to assemble.
