The ankle tie is designed to adjust the size around the baby's ankle to ensure that it stays on the little foot it was made for!

You'll need to know how to half double crochet, double crochet, front and back post double crochet, increase, decrease, and slip stitch. The pattern is in US terms.

These socks are intended for newborns to 3 months. The finished size following gauge is 2.5" in the foot and 3" in the ankle to ribbing with a 2" width. The size can be adjusted by using finer or thicker yarn and a smaller or larger crochet hook.
