This listing is for 1 Herbal Tea Garden seed kit, with everything you need to start your own garden filled with flowering herbs that are perfect for making herbal tea. Not only are these plants great for tea, they look lovely in the landscape as well. All are drought tolerant, low-maintenance, and deer-resistant.
Kit includes:
6 coco fiber pots,
6 soil pellets,
6 wooden plant markers,
6 seed tins filled with herb seeds
planting instructions
packaged in stamped cotton drawstring bag (approx. 7"x9"), with hang tag attached
Seed varieties include:
English Lavender - highly fragrant, lovely looking shrubby perennial, tall spires of purple flowers bloom above bluish-green foliage
Bergamot - also known as 'Bee Balm', this plant grows about 2 ft. tall, with pale purple blooms, leaves are very fragrant
German Chamomile - widely known for its use in teas, small sized herb with dainty white flowers
Hyssop - very pretty and long lasting pinkish/purple flower spikes, lovely scent when leaves are crushed
Echinacea - sturdy tall plants (about 3-4 ft. tall), with pale purple/pink daisy-like flowers, extra large seed heads after flowers are done blooming
Lemon Balm - a little bit minty, and a little bit lemony in flavor, will spread if not contained
This kit makes it easy to get your own herbal tea garden started - just add water to the soil pellet, wait until it expands, then add the seeds! Mark each pot with label provided, and you should have little herb sprouts in approximately 7 -30 days (depending on temp. and type of seed). This kit is designed for indoor use to get your seeds started. Once the seeds have sprouted and begin to grow, they will quickly outgrow their small fiber pots - at this time they will need to be transplanted outdoors either directly in the ground, or into a larger pot.
Extra seeds are provided in case of any mishaps, or if you want to grow additional plants for a 'fuller' herbal tea garden.
