I didn't like the fussy designs of many pride shoelaces out there, and deeply wanted to create something with a much more streamlined look. I ran with this idea, and designed these shoelaces that feature a seamless gradient of colour down its entire length. Now you can turn any boring pair of shoes into a colourful fashion statement!

The abstract nature of these designs allows for subtle pride representation, and many who are unfamiliar with the pride flag designs will just see them as colourful laces – yet those who know, will know!

These shoelaces are made from recycled PET plastic - the material of soft drink bottles! The printed material is vibrant, durable and easily washable.

[Material Update]
I am slowly transitioning all these shoelaces to a new generation that features a robust polyester weave that is more resistant to fraying, as well as having better friction to prevent the laces from easily coming undone. The new laces are also more suitable for heavier usage, such as skates and sports shoes. As the first generation sells out, they will be replaced with the new versions - don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions about this!

[Shoelace Lengths]
These laces come in different lengths.
The 45"/114cm length is great for your typical casual shoes and trainers (with 5-6 eyelet pairs).
The 54"/137cm length is better suited for high-top sneakers and boots (with 7-8 eyelet pairs).
Some designs come in 96"/244cm lengths for tall boots and skates (with 10-11 eyelet pairs)

[Lace Lock Sets]
Combine your shoelaces with a pair of Shoelace Locks in matching pride colours! Lace Lock Sets include 1 pair of Pride Shoelaces (45" or 54") with 1 pair of matching Pride Lace Locks. These shoe charms are made of gold-plated brass and produced in a cloisonne process, making them rust-proof and very hard-wearing.

Products are shipped in unmarked, plain padded envelopes, with a label stating the shipping name, address, and a return address.

If purchasing any of the LGBT pride accessories, there is NO mention of any LGBT content on the exterior of the package. Customs labels are filled with generic descriptions such as 'Metal Badges' or 'Fashion Accessories'.

Pride items are usually attached on backing cards featuring LGBT-themed artwork. If other people are likely to open the package, I will be happy to attach them to generic plain cards instead, if requested. Double-wrapping to further obscure the items is also possible. Super cute laces but worn them out a few times and they're staining in the lighter colours despite having never touched dirt or anything other than my shoes. Not hugely noticable but sad its happened so fast

Hi Elizabeth, it sounds like the dirt or grease accumulated in your shoe's eyelets may have transferred onto the laces. Not to worry, the laces can be cleaned with some simple soap and water to get them looking new again!
