12 years ago I welcomed my first sweet baby and quit my day job shortly after. A few months later Murray Design Shop was born, and I could not be happier as my work and home life have joined together.

I've painted since I was a child -- oils, watercolor, acrylic, anything I could get my hands on. It is a joy to now make this hobby my career. I love to watch my kids explore and I am inspired by all the things that they find fascinating -- colors, animals, shapes, texture, nature. My goal is to create art that you will cherish for years. Each painting in the shop is an original piece, painted by me, completely from scratch.

We are now a family of five and I am grateful for each day with my husband and kids. We learn and play during the day, and I work extra hard while they sleep.

Will you create a custom piece that is not in your shop?

Yes! I’d love to create a custom painting for your space. Message me and we will work together on colors and details.

Are there sizes available that you do not have listed?

Often times, there are. Let me know the size you are looking for and I can probably order it if I do not have it in stock.

Is there an additional charge if I want different colors than those in the listing photos?

Nope. There is no charge to customize colors. Since I paint each piece from scratch it is no problem at all to coordinate with your colors. You are welcome to send photos or links to show your color scheme and I am happy to match as close as possible.
