I grew up exploring nature, collecting everything from moss to dirt, fascinated by all the details I saw. My path toward creating handmade ceramics began with my awe for the beauty of the outdoors, and I was drawn to the earthiness of clay for expressing that beauty.

All of my wares are designed and created by me, from my home ceramics studio in Austin, TX. My process involves carefully cutting and rejoining slabs of clay to create unique hand-built forms. My creative spirit continues to be deeply inspired by textures, forms, and details I notice while exploring green spaces in central Texas.

As an artist, I enjoy designing without rigid patterns or guidelines so that each piece of pottery grows into its own character and qualities. I value the individual uniqueness that can be seen and appreciated in handmade wares. My passion for being a ceramic artist has evolved into a passion for growing curiosity and inspiring creativity, both in myself and others.
