My son squealed with joy when this arrived! It is authentic enough to actually require finesse and focus to seat it properly, maintain contact with the cut notch in the back of the arrow and the elastic bow, and aim. But it’s also about as straight forward and easy as pie. Perfect for my newly 4yr old. I will definitely be getting more as a gift.

I ordered the "Reversible" style Figure Eight board from Jennifer on a Monday, and a board arrived THE NEXT DAY but I only received the one-sided version. Jennifer reacted immediately and express shipped the correct board! She allowed me to donate the first board to my OT clinic. Overall, these beautiful and very functional pieces (side handles would make them more useful for us but I am giving it 5 stars anyway). Thankful for the customer service, attention to detail, and craftsmanship.

So worth it. I had considered making my own, but I'm glad I didn't. This is darling, well made, and well worth the cost. Whatever I would have made wouldn't have looked as nice, and had I tried to copy the materials used, would have cost me more in the making. Can't wait to re-order from this shop. many thanks to the owners

Our wonderful team! Three brothers with wives, friend Jim, and not in photo we also have Erin and Shelby.
Here is our amazing workshop right next door to home in the Missouri countryside.

Our little shop has grown from the endless creativity and skill my husband and I are driven to share.

Hello and Welcome! My husband, Joseph, and I have turned our love for creating into a family business making unique artisan quality products and sharing them with children and parents around the world. We are in a constant state of inspiration designing new toys, home decor, teaching tools, and more and striving to always offer the highest quality with every product. Most of our products are made from locally harvested hardwoods and are finished with natural sealants so you know they are safe for you and your family and that with care they will last for many many years.

Jennifer's creativity never seems to cease and sharing her creations with others is a natural way to let it flow. She finds much inspiration right at home in the interactions with her five children and support from her husband, Joe.
Joseph Compton

Assistant, Creator, Shipper

Joseph, my husband, manages the shop. He has put in the endless hours to research and learn how to operate the equipment we now use. If he can find extra time at some point, we'll all have the pleasure of reading his novels and hearing his music.
Samie

Assistant

Samie is our office manager. She organizes all of the orders for shipping and keeps the wood printer running all day long. When not working up to 55 hours a week, she likes to spend her time doing calligraphy, cleaning, and riding horses.
Mikhael

Maker

Mikhael is Joe's younger brother. His roles in the shop vary from routering and sanding to drilling and cutting. Outside the shop you'll find him either on a horse or motorcycle, working on his truck or photography.
Jim

Maker

As a longtime friend of ours, we turned to Jim for help during Christmas 2015 and he has been helping since. He spends all day sanding, perfecting every edge. Off hours you'll see him out for a run or helping his wife in their essential oil business.
Erin

Assistant

In 2016, I was due with my 5th child, trying to run the business on my own. Erin answered my help wanted ad and has become a friend and essential to the business. With two daughters, she is a busy mama--homeschool, farm, and work!
Sterling

Maker

Joe's youngest brother, Sterling starts his day in the shop at 5 am (his own choice). He has been our bow-master for years and now runs the CNC. He is married with three adorable children. He is passionate about health through nutrition and exercise.
