This Item Is Handmade By Me Using Repurposed Wood. It's From Multiple Sources That Include Construction, Demolition & Joinery Works. It's impossible to estimate what the wood was originally used for, but some of the timber is very old (100+ years since it was a tree) and in excellent condition - much too good to send to landfill or burn.

Unlike many other on etsy, this is not a plastic/paper sticker and will not peel off the wood

All our signs are handmade from solid wood not MDF or Plywood

Not mass-produced so each piece is different and authentic

Default font is the one on clear wood, however, if you'd like the font changed please ask

The wood grain and rustic effects are real and not painted or stained on the wood

We can change the background colour - please see photos for selection

Sometimes we leave the print shabby looking because we think it looks good on the sign - please tell us if this is not for you

Lightly varnished & unstained to help preserve the print

Drill hole front to back for hanging to door, shelf or wall

With top corner holes & twine as standard, but drilled holes elsewhere can be requested with your order

New wood is always sourced from authorised supplier

All the old wood we sell has been reclaimed rescued and worked by us

We have cleaned, dried, cut, drilled and sanded the wood ourselves

It's not known what type of wood it is, but usually they are some type of softwood

The wood may contain evidence of it's work history as we have pictured - this adds individual character in our opinion

This sound harsher than it is in reality - we are sure you will be thrilled by the sign you choose

Any unwanted characters should easily cover up with some careful use of paint or varnish
