Awful sound quality
I'm studying this book as part of a children's literature course, and enjoyed the story. The sound quality was terrible though, and I'm not sure I'd have had the patience to persevere with it unless I needed to. Very expensive for such bad quality.

Not truly an audiobook
I was disappointed on getting this audiobook as it wasn't truly a narration of the actual book. what it turned out to be was more a traditional dramatised radio show with actors voicing each character. I think I will need to get hold of the actual book to read and hope one day someone will do a proper audiobook version.

Very Enjoyable
A very good adaptation but it felt too short and it made me want to listen to an unabridged reading.

Beautiful story, well read
Where does Tom's Midnight Garden (Dramatised) rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
An enjoyable children's tale I remember well from my childhood.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Tom's Midnight Garden (Dramatised)?
I was filled with excitement as they skated down the river.
What does Dramatisation bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?
The dramatization really brought the book to life and immersed me into Tom's world.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
No spoilers here - the ending is very lovely.
Any additional comments?
This is a relatively short book that I loved listening to over the course of an evening. Worth a listen if you read this as a child and a wonderful story to introduce to your own children.

Tom's Midnight Garden
Having been a huge fan of Phlippa Pearce as a child I was keen to listen to this with my 8 year old son. We both loved it. The dramatisation is very well done and the story is easy to follow. It was a real joy to see my son fascinated by the events unfolding in the garden, and trying to work out what was happening, how and why...

A dramatisation not the book!
I was expecting the full narration of the text but this is more like a tv script dramatisation. Very well done but not what I was expecting at all.

A Wonderful Dramatisation
This dramatisation captures all the beautiful bittersweet charm of the classic book and all the members of the cast perform perfectly. This is a superb production.

The magic clock
I like the idea of the story but I think it’s a little repetitive in my opinion

Enjoyable story but not a proper audio book
Quick warning: this is not a real audiobook, it’s a performance of the book with actors and sound effects etc. Overall it wasn’t a problem, I enjoyed the story and it was a good listen and the voice actors did a really good job but obviously you’re missing out on the writing of the book so I will probably return this and get the kindle version so I can properly read it.
