Denim Parka with Stormwear™

Lovely style:looks really good Delivery and collection went smoothly I am disinclined to recommend to a friend because I don't want everyone walking about in one -poor question And I think it's expensive:thank goodness for staff discount

Been looking for a casual jacket for spring and although this wasn't what I had in mind, thought I'd give it a try and I did like it when it arrived. I'm normally a size 12 but this seemed a bit fitted and a 14 gave me the more relaxed style I was looking for - look forward to wearing it when the weather warms up. Got it with 20% off but wouldn't have paid full price.

This denim parka is great. Already have short denim jackets but the longer length of this parka is super. A good summer coat in a lovely mid blue denim and a perfect fit. Surprised by other reviews concerning it not being lined as denim seldom is.

Very disappointing, this item is of very poor quality, style and fit. Quite honestly I wouldn't clean up in it. No lining so sticks to whatever you put it over. Really bad.

I really like this parka - it had sold out online but I bought the last one in a 10 in my store! I have several short denim jackets so a long parka style is something a bit different. You can wear it straight or give it a bit more shape with the drawstring. I would say buy your usual size. It is a lightweight item not stormwear so ideal for spring or autumn or you could wear it as an 'indoor jacket' in the winter. Overall very pleased with this item which I think will be useful and versatile.

Bought this in store, usually a size 14 ( not available in store)..but a 12 was a so so fit.....ordered a 14 on line..e mail arrived two days later, telling me item now out of stock and money would be returned to account. Went on line 5 mins later, and there was 10 plus size 14 in stock..re ordered and picked up today..a better size for me. Not sure it is worth the money, it is just like a unlined long shirt..will keep it for now and see if anything with a bit more umph comes on line to swop it for...I used to love denim first and second and everytime round..but not convinced with this item.

I read the other reviews and finding one in size 12 at the time was very difficult as they were sold out online and only odd ones were left in the shops (Customer Services told me that no more were coming in either when every size appeared online the next day!) so I took both these signs to mean that this must be a coveted item and I liked the style in the picture. The jacket itself is very nice (although I'm not sure why it's called a parka,) and it didn't worry me that it was unlined, but I did not think that I would wear it very much as I wasn't sure that I could style it very well and so I returned it. For example, I would have preferred a normal collar as it did not sit in one place, it was too long to go with dresses and for me too casual to ever be able to dress up.

I really liked this parka when I saw it online. I realised it was unlined denim so I assumed the "storm wear" logo was a mistake. The style is great and the fit perfect. It looks really good with rolled up chinos ( I got the green ones from the indigo range) and a navy stripe top underneath. A really good layering piece for when the weathers warmer. At 20% off its great value.

Can be worn either to dress casually or to dress up any outfit.

I entirely agree with the previous contributor who commented on the lack of stormwear. I too thought it would be adequate for a summer shower. Why is stormwear mentioned in the description?
