What a great idea! A cuddly warm blanket that the baby can play with and then it folds into a decorative toy. This blanket is perfect for a minimalist home, it's gender-neutral and looks gorgeous when folded and rested on the armchair.

Use it as a blanket in the pram or car seat or use it as a play mat, and when you are done, fold it away and display it in your nursery. Hung it on the pram and the baby will be entertained looking at it.

Made with double knit (light worsted) yarn, this pattern will create a blanket that is warm and soft, but light in weight, perfect for babies of all sizes and ages.

FORMAT:
30 page PDF file, pattern written row by row in US terms with side notes and photos where needed. All special stitches are explained so you can easily follow and complete the pattern.

SIZES:
This pattern will create a baby blanket size 90cm by 75cm, but you can make yours as small or as large as you like by changing the number of the starting chains and the number of rows. Your finish size my vary depending on your tension and material used.

GAUGE:
Gauge is not important in the pattern, a 10cm by 10cm area has 5 rows and 15 stitches.

SKILLS:
slip stitch, single crochet, double crochet, half double crochet, single crochet together, decrease, increase. All special stitches are explained and links to videos for the basic stitches are provided.

MATERIAL NEEDED:
Each ball of yarn is 300m long.
- 2 ½ x 100g balls of DK (light worsted yarn) in yellow
- 2 ½ x 100g balls of DK (light worsted yarn) in black
- 1/2 x 100g balls of DK (light worsted yarn) in white

HOOK NEEDED: 4mm
