I love all things vintage. Sometimes, I buy too much. I love selling on Etsy to pass on the fun things I have found at a good fair price. I love to make things out of old things and use vintage items in my projects.

I always carefully wrap your items and sometimes will even tuck in an extra surprise. I want your purchase to be a FUN one, even if the actual item may be utilitarian.

I have lots of things to list, so check back often.

I do combine shipping on multiple items.

So, What's a monkeybox?

When I was a little girl, we had a pet monkey named Amanda. My Dad worked in the produce business, so each night he brought home that days culls in a big box - spotty cucumbers, pithy apples, limp celery, moldy oranges and the like. We called it a monkeybox. It was really just trash, but my Mom would take each piece of fruit and trim it, pare it and cut it up to make a beautiful fruit platter for Amanda. Even though it was deemed trash by one, it still had life left in it and was good for the purpose we needed it. That's how I live my life - thrifting, yard saling, looking for another's trash to be my treasure.
*Those are my Great Grandparents up there. My Great Grandma was the original Martha Stewart. She threw a great party and decorated for every holiday. I want to be her when I grow up. Oh wait! I am!

I am a blogger and curator of a small house crammed full of vintage treasures. I like vintage holiday things most of all. I buy a lot, but I can't keep it all. So, the rest goes on Etsy for YOU to enjoy!
