Had a lot of trouble with gauge - I’m pretty new to crochet but working with some different weights and trying to make different size shoes was a challenge. I did modify to keep it simple and ended up not putting on a flower. Came out nice and quite sturdy. I plan to make as gifts so will likely get a few more under my belt and expect it will get easier to get correct gauge.

I love that this comes as a download-able file and that I can look at it on my Kindle! I haven't had time to make these yet, but I read through the pattern, and it's really well written. The pictures are focused and clear, and help with understanding what process she's trying to convey.
