Making creations for the home that give people joy is the best job ever!

I started this shop in 2014 when I was laid off at my current work-at-home job and began looking for another path. My husband and I have four children and I love being home with them while they are young. I have always enjoyed decorating my home and began at first working with fabrics I loved and then I came across the Silhouette machine that allowed me to personalize the pillows that I loved to make! I found that people love to personalize gifts and create their own pillows. I started displaying my pillows on facebook and got such a great response from friends and family that I began my own etsy shop. My husband and I were trying to come up with a name for my "business" and he suggested "the west garden" since west garden is the name of our street. I loved it. I felt it conveyed a classy yet warm and inviting space which is just what I wanted.
